Get Rid of Double Chin

Double chin  may implies weight gain or obesity, but it’s not always the case. Double chin don’t always regards as beauty symbol. Hence, many would do anything to get rid double chin either by beauty treatment or plastic surgery.

Double chin is an additional layer of fat that accumulates behind the chin. A double chin may occur due to either weight gain or aging. Understanding how double chin develops may help you to get rid double chin.

  1. Aging. Double chin may develop as your body aging. Aging process may cause the skin to lose its elasticity, which may cause saggy skin to form double chin. 
  2. Genetics. Genetics can cause you to have double chin. Look at any of your family members, and see if any of them have double chin.  
  3. Diet and weight gain. Double chin may  results from weight gain. A calorie-dense diet such as processed foods and unhealthy fats may contribute to weight gain, and eventually a double chin. 
  4. Posture. The neck and chin muscles may get weak due to poor posture. A double chin may develops due to the skin around neck and chin losing its flexibility, especially when  muscles around that area are not strengthen.

 

Facial workouts and exercise in general can lessen the severity and appearance of double chin by improving the facial muscle, jaw muscle, and neck muscles strength. This will improve their ability to maintain youthful facial shape. Double chin appearance can be minimized with any facial massage techniques and facial exercise that evenly engages or stretches the facial muscles without overdoing it. 

Facial exercise that targeting to minimize double chin is amongst the most effective and the easiest way to get rid the double chin.

Double chin removal exercise should be practiced several times until you can observe the result. Each exercise techniques can be performed about 8 and 12 times, twice per day. 

 

Some of the exercise for double chin removal as follows:

  • Open your mouth as wide as possible like yawning, then shut the mouth without letting the teeth touch. 
  • Smile as wide as you can. The lip edges should be pulled upward by your fingers. This can be done effectively while lying down. 
  • The cheeks are inflated as high as possible.
  • Doing chewing motion with your head tilt slightly upwards. 
  • Lift the tongue towards the roof of your mouth with your neck curled towards your chest. 
  • Grinning widely, while moving your head upward and downward motion.
  • Tilting your head up while moving your lower lip on the upper lip. 
  • The tongue is lifted up against the roof of the mouth while humming. 
  • Perform lip movements to produce the sounds “o” and “e”.
